sculpture

These works include anything where the artist worked beyond the two dimensions of a work on canvas or paper and extended into three dimensions.  This is a different world entirely where its about making an object to physically interact with the space that we as humans live in.  It can be abstract or figurative but in all cases it will be about how the space you are in has changed from what it would be like without the sculpture there and that's one of the fascinating things about sculpture.  I've also included work that is involved with time, such as videos for example.  This is another way that an artist might decide to go beyond the two dimensional canvas.
